David Baumer, Principal
David Baumer began his career as a commercial real estate broker in 1984, working as an industrial broker at what is now CB Richard Ellis, before joining The Andover Company in 1989. As a Principal of The Andover Company, David has primarily worked the southend industrial market in the areas of Tenant and Landlord representation, the sale of Investment Properties, and Property Development.
David's focus on the "User" side of the business has included deals such as the representation of Charlie's Produce on their 695,000 square foot building purchase in Seattle on East Marginal Way from the Port of Seattle and subsequent re-sale of this property to AMB Property Corporation. On the Institutional Investment side of the business, David most recently represented Pacific Ventures on their sale of Pacific Business Park in Kent, WA, to TA Associates out of Boston for $19,475,000. For over 20 years, David has represented hundreds of companies in lease and purchase transactions.
CoStar Group has selected David for their Individual Power Broker Award in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
David's background includes an Undergraduate Degree from Seattle University, and a Law Degree from Seattle University in 1984. He maintains an active license and membership with the Washington State Bar Association, as well as various real estate associations.
